How does Partners4Business work ?

P4B
harnesses the power of the Internet to  showcase products and services to local, national and worldwide market via an innovative on-line b2b directory.  P4B is run for people who are looking for new contacts who can be buyers or suppliers to their business.  P4B members can use the website systems to find new commercial 'partners' in all 4 corners of the world. 

It may be that you would like to find more customers
, new suppliers, dealers, agents or just money to start or expand their business.  Sometimes members are keen to find partners with new technology or they need to identify new contacts with academic staff at a university to research a new technology or develop innovations for their sector of business. Member Interest Groups and Networking Events

P4B has developed a number of member interest groups or 'cluster ' clubs.  Each one deals with an area of business activity.  P4B also organises sector or thematic events and conferences that deal with a specific cluster club issue.   P4B also organises b2b 'collaboration' events and networking meetings for its members.  These are held on a local, national and international level as part of our own conference or exhibition or in conjunction with other business networks or events.

"If only I could have a contact that was roughly 'interested' I know I could sell them my product." UK Environmental business  This company developed a new technology for removing pollutants from the sediment found in rivers and harbours. The company participated in P4B supported events in Germany and England and has identified £1,000,000 worth of business. As a result the company established an office in the North East of England and is looking to expand to 10 staff over the next 2 years.

Turkish Biotech Company – This company invented a new biological pesticide that kills off Mosquito larvae in stagnant water.  They were looking for marketing agents and a company to manufacturer the chemical in commercial quantities.  Their profile was circulated to all P4B Partners who forwarded it onto possible business contacts in their communities.  Several positive responses were received particularly from Minneapolis, Louisiana and Finland.  The company is now in discussions with a Minnesota based organisation about a licensing and agency deal.

UK Chemical business – This business developed a new cleaning solution that purports to ‘kill’ 100% of MRSA and other super bugs for over 2 weeks after application.  The company were looking to find agents and or sell their IPR on the product formula.  Their profile was circulated to the Partners in the P4B network who identified several interested contacts.  A company in New Jersey USA is currently in discussions with this company and looking to buy the IPR or agree a manufacturers licence.

US-European Inter-Regional Cooperation - The American State of Louisiana and the Dutch Province of Flevoland (adjacent to the Dutch capital Amsterdam) forged economic development contacts and business to business activities through their P4B link. A Louisiana delegation headed by Secretary Michael Olivier paid their first visit to Flevoland in early December 2005. Special attention was paid to Flevolands successful flood control systems and related remote sensing technologies developed by companies located at the Flevoland Geomatics Business Park (GBP). The Flevoland World Trade Center arranged a variety of business to business meetings between Louisiana delegates and members of the Flevoland business community.
